The Billericay Observer

The Billericay Observer was a local newspaper published by Wynford Grant whilst he was a schoolboy. He started publishing this fortnightly paper in 1958 when he was about 12 years old and ceased publication in 1962 so he could concentrate on his O Level GCEs. The links below allow you to download pdf copies of the newspaper. Reading through these it is surprising how little things have changed, the same issues seem to affect local people.
