Identification has been difficult as there are not enough details pointing to a particular service record, however we believe the details below to be correct. The CWGC only has one FEB Harding listed

Died of wounds on Wednesday 1st December 1915, aged 26. At this time it is known that the 21st Bty. was in action in the area around Hooge, to the east of Ypres.

Buried at St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen, a little way south of the Seine.

Son of Francis Egerton Harding and Frances Pauline Somers Harding (nee Cocks), of Old Springs, Market Drayton.

It is unknown why he is commemorated on the Billericay Memorial as no connection has been discovered.
