May Queen 1950s

by Rosalind Lewis

I found this photo at my mother’s old house. I believe it was taken at Lake meadows and was the crowning of the May Queen in the 50’s. My elder sister, Patricia Jean Lewis,  is the second from the left and although I am 4 yrs younger I can still remember how beautiful the May queen looked; she had the most amazing auburn hair in ringlets. I am afraid I don’t remember any other names.

Our Dad was a teacher at the school now called Quilters.
