Died of wounds on 4th June 1917 aged 26.

Buried at St. Leger British Cemetery in France.

Son of Charles N. and Maria A. Woolverton of Oak House, Billericay. Native of Southend-On-Sea.

Private Woolverton is thought to be the first man that is commemorated on the war memorial to enlist in August 1914.
