Thomas Amos

Private Thomas Amos  was born in 1924 and died in Italy on 27th April 1945, aged 24.

He served in the 2/5th Bn. The Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey).  His service no. was 1735503.

Thomas was killed during the last days of Operation Grapeshot which resulted in German forces in Italy surrendering on 2nd May and is buried at Padua War Cemetery in Italy.
