Killed in action on 7th June 1917 aged 32 on the opening day of the Battle of Messines.
Remembered on Messines Ridge (N.Z.) Memorial in Belgium
Son of Petre And Mary Ann Keeling of Gooseberry Green, Billericay, England.
Harry was in New Zealand when war broke out which explains why he was part of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

His father was named Peter. Check the birth register for 1847.
Editor: Julian is quite correct, however the article quoted information from the CWGC (Commonwealth War Graves Commission). I have double checked and found that the 1891 Census does show the Father’s name as Peter and thus have informed CWGC of the error on their website.
