Joseph Henry Charles Voyce

Joseph Henry Charles Voyce was born in Billericay in 1915 and died on 15 July 1944, aged 28.

His parents were  Joseph and Rose Priscilla  May Voyce (nee Parmenter) (1885-1953). They had married in Billericay in 1914 and lived at 3 Hope Cottages, Park Lane, Ramsden Heath (now redesignated as Short Lane).

He married Ellen Margret Rand in 1937, West Ham (1916-1993?).

Private Voyce served in the Dorsetshire Regiment, 4th Battalion.  His service no was 6023468.

He rests in the St Mavieu War Cemetery, Cheux  on the outskirts of Caen, Normandy, France.
