Died 6th August 1915 aged 17 during an attack at Cape Helles. There are some stories that he may have only been 15 at the time but we have not been able to confirm or disprove these.
Buried at Twelve Tree Copse Cemetery, Helles, Galipoli, Turkey.
Son of Mrs. E. West of 2 Pump Cottages, Crays Hill.
